The Hunt

At Feistner’s Hunting and Guide Service we put 100% effort into every hunt. Our hunts are well organized and conducted at a leisurely pace.

We are located in the prairie pothole region which is naturally the best pheasant and duck producing areas in North America. Our habitat is centered around natural wetlands and consists of dense nesting cover, warm season grasses, food plots, cropland and woody cover.

Because of the prime habitat and plentiful food plots at Feistner’s Hunting and Guide Service the hunting continues to get better as birds from adjacent land move in as the weather gets cooler. Our late season hunts are every bit as good as opening weekend.

In addition to the regular season that opens the 3rd Saturday of October and runs into January we also have lands with extended shooting hours, liberal bag limits and dates that allow hunting from September through March.
