The Hunt - Our Primary Focus!

These days time is a very valuable commodity. Feistner's Hunting and Guide Service realizes that your hunting opportunities may be very limited and we put 100% effort into every hunt.

Feistner's Hunting and Guide Service starts planning for your hunt even before the previous season is over by continuously trying to improve habitat and grooming the land to maximize bird carrying capacity. Because of our prime habitat and plentiful food plots the hunting continues to get better as birds from adjacent land move in as the weather gets cooler. Our late season hunts are every bit as good as opening weekend.

Feistner's Hunting and Guide Service will take you to the field in our 4x4 bus and crew cab pickup with dogs and guides. Our hunts are well organized and conducted at a leisurely pace. We will drop off walkers on one end of the field with dogs and guides. Another guide will place blockers at the other end of the field and we will drive the birds in that direction. Everyone is picked up at the end of the drive and we go to the next drive or field. An average day will consist of 4 to 5 drives and if you walk every time you will probably travel less than 2 miles afoot. With a larger group (10-16) you need not be in great shape or be able to walk much at all.

Feistner's Hunting and Guide Service will not book more hunters than we think we can reasonably handle and have enough hunting and birds for. Most of our fields are hunted only 3 or 4 times a year which is key to our success and customer satisfaction! Our fields are on a 10 day or longer rotation between hunts. We rarely fall short of shooting a limit for the day and will guarantee that you will have plenty of shooting opportunities!
